What’s your current role?
I work at SAP Labs United States in Palo Alto as a software developer in one of the innovation groups. It’s my job to listen to the trends in the market and to find new solutions for new problems.
What’s your day like?
It starts out with surfing. We grab our surfboards in the early morning and hit the beach. The same guys I surf with, I also work with. That’s an awesome experience.
Describe your job?
Software innovation is a balance of artwork and engineering. You come up with these ideas, but you can’t forget that at end of the day there’s a serious product at stake. It has to scale, it has to be secure, and it has to be valuable to operate and run.
What’s the culture of SAP?
Respect is one of the fundamental building blocks of SAP. You see it everywhere, when you talk to people in different departments and collaborate across disciplines. We all respect each other.
