TANYA | HUMAN RESOURCES

What’s your current role?

I work in the area of Global Mobility. My team and I are responsible for all SAP employees moving from wherever they are in the world into the region of Europe, Africa and the
Middle East.

What do you do?

I ensure that our employee relocations run as smoothly as possible, so employees can fully concentrate on their work without having to deal with immigration, taxation, and social security. We also support moving their household goods, finding housing for employees and taking care of transportation-whatever their needs are.

Do you like your job?

Yes, it’s a very interesting and challenging job. It requires working in three time zones because if an employee travels into Europe, Africa, or the Middle East, it means they’re either coming from the Americas or the Asia-Pacific regions. So I get to work with various cultures, languages and backgrounds. It’s a terrific challenge.

How do you help facilitate a global career path?

We’re strong facilitators in supporting globalization, and make it possible for our employees to transport SAP’s culture and learning into their new country. And to bring their insights back to their home country.
