SAP China has grown its presence continuously — and sustainably — since 1995 with offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, and Dalian. Currently, more than 2,500 dedicated employees at SAP locations in China are serving customers all over the world as software developers, researchers, consultants, sales executives and others.

SAP China is recognized as the world’s leader in business software since we landed our first customer back in 1992. Since then, more than 1,500 companies in China are running SAP software. In fact, 80% of them are local customers. In China, we have more than 70 partners. And there are more than 2,000 certified consultants in China working closely with us to extend quality services and to create added value for our customers. SAP China will continue its investment in Asia Pacific and China markets in the future.

The SAP Active Global Support and provides proactive support for SAP customers. In 2004, SAP established a Center of Expertise in China (CoE China) which is playing an important role. In customer service and support we have several interesting positions, where you can provide proactive support for SAP customers globally.. In this area you can help our customers manage the technical quality of their solution landscapes and adapt their existing SAP solutions to the ever changing market conditions. You give recommendations and guidelines that will help our customers in Asia Pacific, Europe, U.S. and Latin America to operate the software more efficiently to meet business requirements.

Founded as SAP Development Center China in 1997, SAP Labs China was officially established on November 20, 2003. It plays a key role in designing and developing, as well as leading product delivery for global, Asia Pacific, and China markets. SAP Labs China provides end-to-end product development, specifically focusing on small and midsize enterprise solutions (incl. SAP Business All-in-One, SAP Business One and SAP Business ByDesign), Business User solutions (incl. SAP Crystal Reports, SAP Crystal Dashboard and Visualization Software, Enterprise Performance Management, Governance, Risk & Compliance), Business Suite solutions (incl. SAP ERP Financials, Globalization Services and Industry Solution Management) and Custom Development. With its outstanding IT workforce, seasoned industry experts, highly experienced management team and first-class R&D environment, SAP Labs China has become a world class R&D center and holds a sound reputation and thought leadership in China’s business software. More than 1,700 software engineers and solution architects are working in this area.
