SAP started its Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) operations in Singapore in 1989. Today, its APJ operations include offices in Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Taiwan, and Thailand.

SAP employs more than 10,000 people in APJ and has customers across more than 25 industry segments. The Singapore office employs over 600 people in the areas:

  • Sales, consulting, education
  • Marketing and communications
  • Finance and corporate functions
  • Shared service centre for finance and human resources

In early 2011 all operations moved under one roof in Mapletree Business City at 30 Pasir Panjang Road.

The new business location was awarded the Singapore's Building and Construction Authority's highest Green Mark Platinum accolade in recognition of its environmentally sustainable and ecologically friendly features. The move to this location is in keeping with the SAP commitment to sustainability and in reducing our own carbon footprint.
